Dominika Blatt
Accompanist
Dominika Blatt is a Hungarian classical pianist with an MMus degree graduating from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest and a recipient of the Weingarten Scholarship, finishing her studies in 2020 at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with a postgraduate certificate in Piano Performance.
Dominika is passionate about collaborating with other musicians, at present as a member of the newly formed Azuri Piano Trio. A finalist in the Sylvia Cleaver Chamber Music Prize in 2019, she has performed across the UK at St John’s Smith Square, St Mary le Strand, The Alexandra Theatre, Birmingham, St James the Greater, Leicester – and in Hungary at the Hungarian National Gallery. She is also involved with contemporary music, having performed with BCMG NEXT and Infinite Opera.
Besides performing she is devoted to passing on her knowledge of music to the younger generation as a piano tutor and accompanist at the London Youth Conservatoire and enjoys working with community choirs – currently as the accompanist of Bowes Park Community Choir and former rehearsal accompanist of the Leicester Philharmonic Choir.
